Whether you register to receive the recordings or to participate live, we will send you the materials and recordings every week. We generally send out the recordings and materials for the following week within a day or two of the calls. The cost for the training is the same whether you are participating live or only receiving the recordings.
Building a Beloved Community and Understanding the NSP
This first session will focus on reading and learning about some of the foundation work of Tikkun and the NSP, including a spiritually progressive worldview, the New Bottom Line. We will also share our 2-part strategy for how to overcome Trumpism and the importance of putting forth a vision of a world based on love and justice.
Spiritual Leadership, Grieving and Surplus Powerlessness
This session will focus on understanding the dynamic of surplus powerlessness, the importance of grieving and spiritual leadership. We will discuss the major changes needed in the Left so that Trump voters and those who did not vote will feel inspired to support liberal and progressive efforts..
The Problem with Global Capitalism and Two Solutions
Learning about the ESRA and GMP, listening to role plays and then practicing talking about them in role plays with group members. We will share our visionary proposals that can shape a progressive movement and provide concrete steps to move toward a world based on love and justice.
Empathy – Love the Stranger as Thyself
Learn empathic communication skills so you are better equipped to listen and hear with compassion and skill. You will learn skills to listen to those who voted for Trump to more deeply understand their needs and also develop the ability to challenge their strategies.
Building a Local Chapter
In this final session, we will review what we’ve learned and discuss how to build local chapters to spread this vision and work.
